Within an hour’s drive
There are plenty of interesting places within an hour’s drive, we present one for every cardinal point of the compass.
- To the west, in Lysekil, you find Havets hus, a saltwater aquarium where you can explore life beneath the surface. Open daily. Also in Lysekil right now, the official World Championship for women, Lysekil Women’s Match.
- To the east, in Trollhättan, there is the Innovatum Science Center, wall to wall with the Saab Car museum and close by the Trollhättan waterfalls and locks.
- To the south, Gothenburg, with plenty of things to see and do of course. The most well known place to visit might be the amusement park Liseberg . Right now there is also the Gothenburg Culture Festival going on, transforming the streets of Gothenburg into festival stages where visitors free of charge can enjoy a vast range of cultural experiences.
- To the north, Uddevalla, with the Bohusläns museum, this week with several sea related activities as the West Coast Maritime week is going on.
