Mireille and Clive Layland from Mossel Bay in South Africa

We’re from Mossel Bay, a small town between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth in South Africa. We’ve been in Sweden since this Thursday. We have had a great time so far! On friday we went to Gothenburg and did all the standard touristic things, like going on a sightseeing boat called “Paddan”.

Our daugther Ashley is sailing here. Now we just have to put the national sticker and and she’s ready to go, says Mireille.

Philip Mathiesen from Gothenburg, Sweden.

I am sailing and am preparing the boat for the racing. I can use some help with the knots on the boat but I am on top of the sailing part. Normally I live in Gothenburg but we have our summer home in Branseröd, a small place just around the corner from the LjSS club house.

I am having a real good time here and I am not particularly nervous. At least not yet, Philip says cooly.

Peter Aronsson from Ljungskile, Sweden.

We are working with IT support. Mainly our job will be about helping out with getting the entry list and results done. The best thing so far is to see all the great activity on the boat park. And we have not been thoroughly put at test yet. which means that so far we are flawless, laughs Peter.
